GPRS and 3G Cellular Monitoring   SNMP RTUs
Cellular networks are migrating from GPRS (also known as 2.5G) to HSDPA (commonly known as 3G or 3.5G) technology, so they can now transmit data with less network latency and more bandwidth. With cellular technology, device communications over cellular networks is managed by cellular providers. You save development cost and time by leveraging the cellular providers' existing infrastructures. In addition, cellular networks use restricted, well-defined bands and are more secure compared to WLAN signals.

Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a network protocol that is commonly used in network management systems (NMS) to monitor networked devices. SNMP RTUs should support all versions of SNMP, including SNMP v1, v2c, and v3. With SNMP RTUs, you can easily manage all of your Ethernet devices, such as switches, routers, and I/O servers, to receive any type of environmental parameters.
